French

Our learning in French aims to inspire curiosity and wonder that comes with learning a new language. Our units are planned to develop progressive understanding and our delivery has a keen focus on oracy and reading. We use the sessions to broaden horizons and to empower our children to look far and wide when considering the world that is available to them. 

There is an emphasis on developing confidence when speaking French as we are aware that the skills needed are diverse and complex. We aim to use a combination of experiences to bring the learning of another language to life.
