Geography

Our curriculum is designed to engage pupils with the world in which they currently live, will inherit and pass on in the future. Within lessons, children will use map skills to learn about the physical diversity of the planet and develop their understanding of people and place. They will learn through field work and local study as well as study countries around the world, noting their similarities and differences to their own lives in the UK. Children will ask questions about both physical and human geography and both broaden and deepen their knowledge of the world as a global village.
