Our Learning Powers

At St. Margaret's, we believe that helping our children to learn is a privilege. We believe that learning extends well beyond the classroom and feel that we have a genuine opportunity to help shape our children for the future. 

To help our children to understand how we can become the best learners that we can be, we use our learning powers. 

Learning Happens Everywhere

These learning powers are at the focus of our learning across the school. We consistently look at the learning powers and particularly focus on explaining the meaning behind them - we want these to be more than something that goes on a website.

The children can work towards these learning powers at home and can also gain class rewards while displaying these learning powers before school, at break and lunch time and aby other time that they are not in the classroom. 

We believe in our responsibility to teach these learning powers as we help to shape our communities future together.
